Covid response: What to expect?

Cormorant Beach House is now open, and we have made sure to implement a comprehensive Health & Safety program. We are operating at limited capacity and we encourage the use of masks in all public areas of the hotel. We offer hand sanitizer stations for staff and guests, as our housekeeping service also provides a thorough cleaning of high- touch areas.

Precautionary Measures

Our number one priority is to provide a safe and clean environment for our guests and staff. We are complying with all the government mandates, due to these guidelines evolving, please be sure to check back here or contact us for timely updates.

Housekeeping

• Thorough cleaning of high-touch areas including, but not limited to, door handles, light and control switches, faucets, toilets, floors, and counters. 
• Guest rooms cleaned and sanitized with disinfectant that kills COVID-19 on hard and soft surfaces within one minute. 
• Windows are opened to air out rooms in between guest stays.
• All housekeeping staff wear masks and gloves and follow mandatory enhanced sanitization and hygiene protocols.
• Laundry follows the same strict cleaning procedures of using bleach, gloves to handle all fabrics, water temperature of at least 70 degrees C, and drying temperature of 100 degrees C.

General Protocols

• Guests are screened for fever with no-contact infrared thermometers when checking in for their stay.
• Guests are required to wear masks while public spaces or interacting with staff members.
• Our staff members are already vaccinated against COVID 19.
• All our staff members are screened for fever before each shift and wear appropriate protective gear including masks and gloves and practice appropriate social distancing, hand washing, and sanitizing.
• Hand sanitizer stations are available for staff and guests.
• Enhanced sanitization protocols are implemented throughout the property continually.
• Appropriate spacing and signage protocols throughout the property.
• No contact payment methods available.
